A local restaurant teamed up with area high schools for a fun promotion using mini vinyl footballs. The footballs featured the name of the restaurant, the school name and a coupon for a free drink with a sandwich purchase. The balls were tossed into the stands at home games and fans could redeem them anytime during the week after the game. The payoff was immense. This creative and cost effective giveaway was so popular that it has become an annual promotion.

A college wanted to promote a summer basketball clinic it was offering to grade school and middle school students. Rather than just send a letter to the local schools, the college had the clinic dates and information printed on mini basketballs. They sent the basketballs to the schools one month before summer vacation. Boys and girls were given basketballs as an invitation to the clinic. The kids loved them and the promotion was wildly successful.

Each year a high school baseball coach gives his senior players the opportunity to order 50 or more baseballs with the team logo and their name imprinted on them. The coach suggested they use them as party favors at their graduation parties. The guests at one of the parties had the player autograph the baseballs. They make a great keepsake for the player's friends and families as well as a nice re-order each year.

Cleveland Central Catholic was coming to the end of their campaign to raise money for a new stadium. They wanted to give the volunteers who helped with all of the work that went into the campaign. They ordered Wilson signature footballs imprinted with the stadium information and groundbreaking date. On the day of the ground breaking, the volunteers were thanked for their hard work and presented with the footballs. The recognition and gift were greatly appreciated.

When the Dulles High School varsity basketball team won the State Championship, the whole town went crazy. The young men were local celebrities and to commemorate the occasion, the school ordered full size signature basketballs with the mascot imprinted on them for the players and coaches to sign. Most of the balls were auctioned off at the annual sports banquet, which raised money to help buy brand new jerseys for the following year. The team now looks the part of champions because of the successful basketball auction.

The Alston Recd Center has a wildly successful youth soccer league. They purchased Wilson soccer balls imprinted with tournament information to be used as game balls in each of the championship games. At the end of the game every player on the winning team signed the ball and presented it to their coach. The soccer balls graced many trophy cases or coach's offices with lasting memories of the championship game.
